Simek's Commercial Scholarship Contest

For the first time ever Simek’s is presenting a scholarship commercial contest! This is a fun opportunity for juniors and seniors in high school or individuals with at least one year left in college to win a $1,000 scholarship toward their education. The goal of this contest is to create a commercial which promotes any Simek’s product(s) in a fun, dramatic or entertaining way that will create a lasting impression in viewer’s minds. The commercial must be 30 seconds or less, must not contain any offensive material and must include the Simek’s logo and name in the commercial.

 Once you have filmed and edited the commercial it is time to show the world your talent! To do so, upload your video as a video response to our “Simek's Scholarship Contest” video on our YouTube channel, or follow this link:Contest  After your video is uploaded, send an e-mail and include the title of your video, your name, your grade in school and a phone number where you can be reached.

The most important part to remember is that you are in charge of whether or not you make it to the finals! The top ten video responses with the most views by March 16, 2011 will be entered into finals (and posted on our Facebook) where judges will make the ultimate decision on who our scholarship winner is. A fun way to do this is to send an e-mail out to your family, teachers or team, share the link on Facebook or Twitter or use YouTube to spread the word about your video!
