Cooking Instructions

2 lb. Meat & Sauce Lasagna Cooking Instructions 

Microwave oven (1100 watts)

microwaves vary, adjust times as necessary.

  1. Place tray on a microwave safe plate.
  2. Lift corner of film to vent. Do not fully remove the film.
  3. FROZEN: Cook at 50% power for 21 minutes.
  4. Remove film and cook for an additional 3 minutes at 100% power.
  5. THAWED: Cook at 100% power for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove film and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  7. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.

Conventional Oven

Ovens vary, adjust time and temperature as necessary.

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F
  2. Remove film and cover tray with "tented" aluminum foil.
  3. Place on baking sheet on middle oven rack.

 

  1. FROZEN: Cook for 80-90 minutes.
  2. Remove foil last 20-25 minutes.

 

  1. THAWED: Cook for 50-60 minutes.
  2. Remove foil last 20-25 minutes.
  3. *Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving.

 

Important: Store in freezer until ready to use or thaw in refrigerator no longer than 24 hours before cooking.  Do not refreeze.

Remove tray from carton prior to cooking. Do not reuse tray or prepare product in toaster oven, portable electric oven or broiler.

Lasagna must be cooked to a minimum internal temperature of 165 F.
