Simek's Zesty Meaty Mushrooms

Large mushroom caps, with a meaty zesty filling!

  • Prep Time: 30 minutes
  • Cook Time: 15 minutes
  • Serving Size: 2 per person
  • Total Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Original Style Meatballs
  • 10 oz Frozen chopped onion and green pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon chili sauce
  • Sea salt
  • Black ground pepper
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 Teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 Cup chopped celery
  • 1 Chopped fine garlic clove
  • 1/4 Teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 Teaspoon dried thyme
  • Large mushroom caps cleaned set aside
  • 3 Tablespoons bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a large saute pan.
  2. Sprinkle olive oil over mixture.
  3. Saute on medium heat for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and cool, set aside.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  6. Fill mushroom caps with cooled mixture.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Enjoy!
