30 MINUTE MEATBALL DUMPLING SOUP

This is a combination of stew-soup with meat, vegetables and even biscuits and so filling!

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 20 minutes
  • Serving Size: 8 oz bowl
  • Total Servings: Makes 4 large servings

Ingredients

  • Original Style Meatballs
  • Original Style Meatballs
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 large can beef broth
  • 1 chopped medium onion
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups of water
  • large pinch of parsley flakes
  • 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
  • 2 pkgs/boxes of homestyle biscuit mix

Directions

  1. In large pot add mixed vegetables in water, 1 can cream of celery soup.
  2. 2 cups beef broth, onion, garlic, salt/pepper, 2 cups of water and bring to slow boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Prepare together biscuit and water according to directions.
  4. On floured fingers and surface, make 16 or so quarter sized dumplings.
  5. Pat on parsley flakes and drop dumplings, meatballs and butter into Stoup.
  6. Cook under medium boil in covered pot for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Stirring occasionally, add water for thinner stoup if desired.
  8. *For spiced up version: add in bay leaf, 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning.
  9. *Try replacing Original style meatballs with pkg Simeks Italian Style Meatballs.
