Bacon Meatball Melt Skewers

  • Ingredients

    French Bread – cut into chunks
    Cooked Bacon (pork or turkey) – cut into slices
    Baby Portabella Mushrooms

    Swiss Cheese Sauce
    – 6 ounces Swiss cheese, shredded
    – 1/2 cup heavy cream
    – 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    – 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    – 1/4 teaspoon salt
    – 1/2 teaspoon pepper
    – Pinch nutmeg

  • Directions

    1. In a medium pan, heat cheese and cream together on stove until cheese is melted and mixture becomes creamy. Whisk in the mayonnaise and seasonings. Continue on low heat until all ingredients are heated through.

    2. Alternate French bread chunk, precooked bacon slice (pork or turkey), baby Portobello mushroom, Simek’s Original Meatball; top with Swiss cheese sauce.
