Italian Meatball Sub

  • 3–5 hour cook time

  • Ingredients

    1 jar pasta sauce, 24 ounces or greater
    1 onion sliced
    1/3 cup sliced yellow peppers
    1/2 cup sliced green peppers
    1/3 cup sliced red peppers
    6 slices of cheese (optional)
    6 hoagie buns, toasted

  • Directions

    1. Combine frozen meatballs, sauce, peppers and onion in 3- or 4-quart crockpot.
    2. Cover and cook on low heat for 3–5 hours or until meatballs are thoroughly heated.
    3. Place meatballs in toasted hoagie buns. If desired, top with cheese.
