Turkey Meatball Gyro Bite

  • Ingredients

    Pita Bread
    1 Cup 2% Greek Yogurt
    3/4 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
    2 Tablespoons Fresh Dill
    1/4 Tsp Garlic Salt
    1/3 Cucumber Shredded
    2 Pints of Cherry Tomatoes
    36 Wooden Appetizer Picks

  • Directions

    Peel and finely dice cucumber, straining off juices. Combine cucumber, greek yogurt, lemon juice, dill and garlic salt in mixing bowl. Add more salt to taste if needed. Refrigerate at least 1 hour for flavors to meld before serving.

    Once sauce is made and set, warm meatballs in skillet or microwave.
    Rinse and dry cherry tomatoes.
    Prep pita bread by cutting triangular slices and place small dollop of tzatziki sauce on top. With skewer, slide on cherry tomato, meatball and place on pita with tzatziki sauce.
